Uncertainty can bring up fear, anxiety, even dissociation for some people.
It not only changes our heart rate, stress hormones, and our breathing it changes our digestion and sleep as well.
The ...ancient art of Qigong can ALSO change our heart, breath, body and mind.
Qigong has been used for over 5000 years from the Shaolin Mountains of China. The fact that this meditation has survived so many generations, speaks to the consistency of this healing modality of self care.
When we deepen our breath, our brain and body adjust.
It's my life mission to spread the gift of Qigong. It has calmed me from harsh anxiety and released me from overwhelm.
Qigong is for everyone: no equipment, money or expertise needed. Plus you can do it inside, outside, sitting, laying, standing. It is safe to do if you’re 9, or 99.
With focused movement and deep breathing, we can shift from feeling anxious to experiencing feelings of content. From feeling uncertain to feelings of clarity, even if we are still uncertain about a lot effecting us.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Qigong allows choice in how you respond to the outside world.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Qigong Shaking
An easy form for beginners, yet still powerful for experienced ...
An easy form for beginners, yet still powerful for experienced practitioners.
The shaking stimulates clearing; which promotes relaxation, increases circulation, and can help release anxiety and trauma from our nervous ...system.
Imagine ~ a pack of zebras drinking water from pool, calm and relaxed, digesting the water....when suddenly a lion strikes! The whole pack burst off in a loud stampede of dust until the lion picks off 'ol Grandpa Zee. The tribe then stops, because the lion no longer chasing them. But they can't sip water again just yet since their fight or flight response was triggered. The natural response to reset their nervous system is to shake. Their whole body shakes and tremors, letting the adrenaline of running for their life, and the grief of ol' Grandpa Zee being killed move out of their system.
Once they have shook, they can go back to digesting and relaxing.
With us humans, the scary lion chasing us is the huge email list we need to address, the rush hour traffic, the world crisis, and the dishes. Focusing on paying the bills on time, and maintaining happy relationships is a lot to juggle constantly, and often we don't know how-- or forget to feel relaxed.
Qigong shaking is a simple exercise which can be done inside or outside, for a few minutes or longer, 10 minutes, 20, even up to 3 hours! The key is effortlessness. You may be in pain when you start, but nothing should hurt more as you shake, if it does, lighten up, slow down, go easier. Trust your own qi, it's highly intelligent.
If you practice this form in the morning, you may find your back and neck vertebra adjust, your stiffness may turn to tingles as your blood flow increases.
If you are in a wheelchair or unable to move, following the breath while imagining trembling can have a powerful effect as well.
This is a short video example, watch for a few times, and then try to practice your self in your own flow. Let me know how it goes!
