Tia Ma, a holistic healer for over three decades, is trained in Qigong, Massage, and Holistic Coaching. She specializes in breath awareness and intuition repair. Her personal healing journey took her deep into the world of energy healing, and now is fluent in her work with chakras, the aura, and subtle energy fields. As an artist, the use of symbology and color play big in her healing work, as well as her dreamwork, and working in the dream world.

Surviving a narcissist family system, she has first hand experience with C-PTSD (Complex post traumatic stress disorder,) and is able to translate well to people with hyper aware nervous systems. Her trauma informed healing works well with coaching and Qigong.

Practiced in Qigong for over 20 years, she began her apprenticeship with Robert Peng in 2017. Robert Peng is a world-renowned Qigong Master, healer, and author of The Master Key: Qigong Secrets for Vitality, Love, and Wisdom. His apprenticeship with the legendary Shaolin monk Xiao Yao began when he was 8.

With her focus of integrating emotional responses in the body, listening to intuition and empowering a sense of self care, Tia offers insightful reflections and recipes for healing. She blends sacred knowledge with modern day consciousness for her Elixir Light Qigong. Listen to our body’s stories, we can unwind pain patterns to restore life-force flow. Tia offers a banquet of tools for self care, offering one-on-one coaching, workshops and retreats:

My Story

Holistic healers around the world often have a story of personal triumph. Known as the “Wounded Healer” phenomena, many have survived a great obstacle of some sort; illness, trauma, sexual abuse or dysfunctional childhood. Rather than be crushed down from this, something inside them sparked… amazingly, their pain morphed into a some gift: insight, ferocious compassion or a certain blazing strength—surviving turned into thriving. I myself experienced trauma as a child, I was part of an air crib experiment (BF Skinner’s ‘baby box’), quarantined every time I cried. My mother had no ability to bond—only react and control. My parents raised us as atheist, in Utah, which might make an interesting movie one day, but was not fun to experience as a junior high student in the early eighties!

My childhood was a painful, isolating experience, but today I am grateful for it all. The pain strengthened my intuition, taught me to listen to the spirit world, and gifted me a deep connection to my intuition. I survived years of feeling suicidal (beginning by age 9), debilitating depression, anxiety and self hatred that left me feeling crippled. I crawled out of the dark night of the soul, again and again and again. SunriseI trust that darkness now. It is not the horrible place of ‘empty-lonely’ I used to think it was. Darkness is the place where the stars can shine, and healthy roots can grow. The pain turned once I learned to breath, and I found my voice to speak my truth.

My healing path led me to study meditation, Qigong, acupuncture, massage, counseling, and making art. I dove into subtle energy medicine: flower essence, aromatherapy, and crystal therapy. By the age of 19, I had experienced many out-of- body experiences, astral projection, mind blowing synchronicity, shared dream experiences and began to develop consistent communication with my own team of spirit guides, and animals in the quantum field.

My greatest joy is to remind people that they are their own healer. I feel honored when I get to see the spark in someones eyes, when self sabotage loosens the reins, and they shift from hating the pain in their foot/neck/back to cradling it, bringing it closer, embracing the story jammed into the muscle and nervous system. And I enjoy the look on their face when they realize a chronic pain they have carried around for way too long— is gone.
